"The ostrich has an eye on you" This is from our tour of an ostrich farm on Aruba. 6301
Weston Nurseries, 6702. I had just gotten some "extenstion tubes" and I really enjoyed experimenting with them.
Under the Santa Monica Pier 0488. I had a couple of hours to kill after a seminar had ended but before catching my plane back to Boston. I think this makes a great black and white photo.
Aruba sunset 6108. You can see why this is such a popular vacation spot.
Steve at the National Seashore. I stood on the shore and took a few of these photos with an 80-200mm zoom (300mm, if you allow for the digital adjustment) while my wife, son, and daughter played in the waves. 4719
"Elinor and a friend" This photo of my daughter was used by Kodak in advertising for their inkjet paper, and for a couple of years, it appeared on many websites, with my accompanying text in many foreign langugages.
Needham Fireworks, 2005 0081. I lied on my back, rested the camera snugly against my face, and squeezed the shutter. It's 3 seconds at f/13
Squirrel in the Fens, about 1/4 mile from Fenway Park. If we have a few extra minutes before a Sox game, I'll try to get some photos in the Fens. I got down to the squirrel's level (by laying in the grass) to take this.
388 Near Kinko's in Santa Monica. This was merely early in the morning, but I like the way it looks like a serious storm is brewing.
This is probably my favorite photo of my wife, Sara.

These photos have been greatly reduced in size, and the contrast has been "turned up", to make them easier to view on the Internet. If you want a 6-20 megapixel original (which will make a far better printed photograph) let me know, at fmilder@nixonpeabody.com.
